Premier Farnell is looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst " Online Communities and Portals.

Job Overview:

*Design, create, and maintain Premier Farnell’s ePortal and online communities (covering internal\external customers and suppliers)
*Evaluate and make recommendations for Community and ePortal enhancements and features based on business benefit.
*Provide innovative solutions, using this technology, to accomplish business benefit, locally and globally.

What will you be doing?

*Defines and develops business plans for ongoing innovation, business requirements and development needs for Premier Farnell Online Communities and portals.
*Expert in Clearspace and Interwoven for community setup, design, configuration, and maintenance.
*Manage execution of online community operations through proven best practices to stimulate community development, foster loyalty among members, and assess progress and satisfaction for improvements.
*Facilitate the communication and training of new community features to moderation staff, internal stakeholders, and support partners.
*Lead global participation and alignment in all communities and portals across internal and external customers and suppliers.
*Drive customer membership and interaction with resultant online revenues through communities and portals.
*Address health and maturity of communities through identification and measurement of key metrics (qualitiative and quantitative). Communicates community activity to sr. stakeholders at PF.
*Be an evangelist for eCommerce " introduce new innovative ideas, tools and processes to really drive eCommerce to the forefront of our go-to market channel.
*Ensure the specification of global features that protects the single platform architecture, provides links back to the transactional web platforms, and provides global solutions.

What are we looking for?

*eCommerce innovator and evangelist - particularly with knowledge of Web 2.0 and social software.
*Equally adept in dealing in business commercial and technical web terminology.
*6+ years hands on demonstrable experience of delivering and launching new web functionality and associated channel growth.
*Bachelors degree required.
*Technical background in eCommerce, and specifically ePortal and Online Community platforms and standards
*Goal orientated & strong delivery/milestone focus
*In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing processes and channels
*Truly global player " can see and deliver the bigger picture.
*Strong collaboration skills and ability to play a key role in cross-functional teams
*PhotoShop, Visio, iRise or equivalent knowledge to create wireframes or mockups as necessary
*Strong business analysis skills, including gathering requirements, etc.
